I paid Cliffordsnr on March 16 for a Federal 184 via Zelle and have not received the light.
He kept kicking the can down the road with various excuses on when the light would be shipped and then quit responding to my communications 2 weeks ago. I see he was logged in here as recently as 3 days ago.
I noticed a post in the Transaction Feedback forum with a very similar situation in which someone responded to a wanted ad and was ripped off when the product was never sent to the buyer. The buyer was referred to a gmail address to complete the transaction. The email I was referred to was similar to the one in that ad but not exactly. I was referred to cgpstorage02@gmail.com and his was cgstashstorage02@gmail.com.
I realize that I should have used an option that gave me some resolution options but I did not. I will not make that mistake again.
I guess this serves as one more reminder to only use electronic payment methods that can get your money back.
