Immaculate Mars Aurora Borealis, serial number 447 (early version with black tag). Features a galvanized aluminum base with no dents, cracks or scratches. The motor, rotators and bulbs all work properly and smoothly. The lens seems to have some VERY MINOR warping along the top (maybe from heat?) and some very minor scratches, but no cracks or chips (both are hardly noticeable and I rate it a 9/10. Note: replacement lenses available through Gary Cahill/Rescue Market if you desire perfection!). The gasket between the base and lens/retaining ring is supple and in one piece.

$4,000 OR BEST OFFER. Accept Paypal, Zelle or Venmo. Shipping $130 to CONUS only. Will be exceptionally well packaged and sent in two boxes (lens in one, assembly in other) via Fedex Ground.

Selling on behalf of a good friend who was a chaplain for the Chicago FD for 35 years and is experiencing medical issues.

Your chance to own an extremely rare "HOLY GRAIL" piece of vintage lighting. DM me with your e-mail address for a video as the file is too large to post here. Thanks.

Marc

Nice piece!
Yes, it's in surprisingly good condition for its age and purrs like a kitten. It took me quite a while to get the two I own to operate as smoothly, and that was with a lot of colorful expletives along the way!

Beautiful. If I ever have the ability to build a light collection, an Aurora Borealis would be the centerpiece.
