If you examine the motor, you may find a date and that would be a fairly close estimate of the build date for the beacon. Replacement domes are hard to find.

Looking for information on the attached Yankee blue light with original mount. Is it possible to find a replacement for the blue lens? Also looking for what this set up might be worth.

WC and WCX use the same modules. The only thing different is the I/O board, and because the I/O board is different, the wiring harness is slightly different.
  • NoLimitSquads
I/O boards are the same. In WCX, they are even the same board between the majority of the models. Wiring harness should be the same, as all the modules also share the same plug. One thing to know...

There were several plug and play pigtails that usually came with the 80K siren amps that would have had one plug into your 80K cable, the pigtail would then be wired onto the 183K, But it is still...

Send a picture of the back of your 183 controller, there should be a hook up there which connects to the toggle switch for your siren.

Sorry I forgot to answer the LVL1 question, yes LVL1, LVL2 were all on.

You can hook the Siren up to the LVL3 slider BUT it will activate the siren as soon as you turn on LVL3 if that is what you want, we didn't do that in CA, some agencies might have depending on policy.

The slide switch in our vehicles operated only the lighting, so in LVL2 our steady red and blue were activated and they stayed on in LVL3. The siren was activated by the toggle switch on your unit.

Is the switch Momentary or does it actually "click" like an off/on switch? If momentary than I would say it is a gun release button for the passenger.

I used and installed those a lot. Yes, the slide switch is progressive, so when LVL1 is on then you move to LVL2, LVL1 will also stay on and so forth when you go to LVL3 LVL's 1 & 2 remain on...
