I have some of the R2DX (2 rotator with mirror) models with the GEN 3 "brushless" rotator that are essentially new and unmounted. I think they are amber. Those I generally sell for $150ish...

The Series A1's drive system was certainly not the best, that's for sure. Relying solely upon gravity to hold the platter to the motor's drive shaft was simple, but came with some reliability issues. -
